For this reason, during 2011, we implemented the ISO9001: 2008, ISO22000: 2005 and HACCP principles, certified by Quality Austria.
ISO9001: 2008 standard is an international standard that contains requirements for a quality management system in a business organization that the company must fulfill in order to harmonize its operations with internationally recognized standards. This system consists of a clearly defined organizational structure, the responsibilities of individual entities in the company, as well as processes and resources required to manage the company.
ISO22000: 2005 standard is an international standard that contains requirements for a food safety management system recognized worldwide and is harmonizing the key requirements of different standards regarding food safety in different countries and regions.
The application of the HACCP principle provides a preventive approach in keeping the occurrence of unwanted situations in terms of food safety from happening, and represents a legal obligation for all food business operators in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the countries in the region and the European Union.
